ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Fans of the New Mexico Ice Wolves are showing their team spirit– even after the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The team tweeted out pictures of rock paintings that featured the team’s logo. They were painted by Tristan and Avery Springer, according to the tweet.
The team is now asking people to tag them in any other Ice Wolves projects.
The people who created the team’s favorite projects will earn some “cool prizes” when the rink reopens.
In the meantime, people can show team spirit and help slow the spread of COVID-19 by purchasing washable Ice Wolves masks. Each mask costs $6.99.
