Day five of the Ice Wolves training camp wrapped up Friday, August 28. Overall head coach Kyle McKenzie has been pleased with what he has seen through camp and the same sentiment carried into the final day of camp.
1. Work Ethic has been good
“The team has shown tremendous work ethic in the five days of camp. I’m excited to put them into a game atmosphere this weekend and see how they respond.” -Kyle McKenzie
2. Conditioning has Impressed
“I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the conditioning of the team throughout the week. Playing in altitude is always a challenge but the boys put in the work this summer and have come prepared.” -Kyle McKenzie
3. Excitement for Preseason
“We have seen the guys improve every day of camp so far and we’ll see all of their hard work come to fruition in the preseason games against Pueblo. I’m excited to coach the entire team in a game atmosphere this weekend.” -Kyle McKenzie
