The Ice Wolves took on the St. Cloud Norseman for just the second time in franchise history for their first game at the 2026 NAHL Showcase. The first period saw St. Cloud applying heavy pressure in the opening five minutes the Ice Wolves were able to handle the pressure and get on the attack. At the 12:56 mark of the period Conner Boulay would find the back of the net to give the Ice Wolves their first lead of the season. Nearly four minutes later a returning Koen Harrold would find himself all alone against the goaltender and wouldn’t miss doubling the Ice Wolves lead and the team would carry that into the first intermission. The second period saw St. Cloud get a goal back 11:54 into the second period to cut their deficit within one. With just 36 seconds left in the middle period Max Stracar would score his second goal of the season to restore their two-goal lead heading to the final period. The third period saw Ryan Galaski stop 10 of 11 shots he faced in the third period and earning his first NAHL win with a 3-2 final score.
