  1. Effort and Intensity Continued into Day Two

 

The Ice Wolves hopefuls returned to action for day two of training camp. Head Coach Kyle McKenzie pointed out how he has seen a high level of competition for the second straight day. “ The compete level picked up right where it left off from day one. The boys also seemed more comfortable on the ice throughout the day.” -Kyle McKenzie

 

  1. Speed was on Display

 

The second day of camp also allowed the players to showcase their speed with the different drills. Coach McKenzie made sure to point out the quick style his potential team was showing on the ice.   “The speed up and down ice was great throughout the day. We had a handful of rush drills that they handled efficiently.” -Kyle McKenzie

 

  1. Physical Presence Early

 

In order to be a successful team in the “Dirty South” you must have a physical presence. Day two of training camp showed the staff that everyone is ready and willing to play a heavy style of hockey. “The physicality has been great to start in these first two days and it makes me believe we’ll be a heavy team to play against.” -Kyle McKenzie
