The New Mexico Ice Wolves engaged in a goaltending duel for the second straight night. Jackson Silverberg and Ethan Ramonetti stole the show as the teams put up a combined 50 shots and only allowed two goals. The Ice Wolves would open the scoring on the powerplay as Porter Bayer would fire a shot that finds the back of the net for his first NAHL goal and give the Ice Wolves the 1-0 advantage. The Ice Wolves would hold onto that lead through the first two periods until the third when the Brahmas would tie it up. Leo Lundblad would find the back of the net on the powerplay to tie the game. The overtime would not see a winner and we would head to a shootout. The Ice Wolves would see Oskar Edberg and Anthony Leech score in the shootout and the Brahmas would equalize each time. In the tenth round of the shoot out Killian Kissane would give the Ice Wolves the advantage. The Brahmas would get an opportunity and Jackson Silverberg made the save earning the Ice Wolves the second point and defeating the Brahmas 2-1 via the shootout. The Ice Wolves are back in action Friday, October 16, against the El Paso Rhinos at 7:00pm MT with all of the action taking place on NATV by selecting the away audio.
