ODESSA, TX – The wait is almost over for hockey fans in the Land of Enchantment. The New Mexico Ice Wolves left this morning to Odessa, TX to take on the Odessa Jackalopes in two exhibition games on Friday, September 6th and Saturday, September 7th at 7pm. The games will not be broadcasted but Ice Wolves fans can look forward to September 13th and 14th which will mark the start of every game being broadcasted on HockeyTV.

When asked about where the team is at this point head coach Phil Fox seems pleased at the progress the team has made since arriving in late August, “[We’re] very happy with our first two weeks of practice during training camp. The boys are working hard and making decisions tough for us as make. I’m excited for our organization to get some exhibition games under our belt. This will be a good measure for us to see where our guys are at. I feel we have brought in a great group of players. They’re really coming together as teammates.”
