Michael Schermerhorn and Yusaku Ando have been named Captain and Alternate Captain of the NM Ice Wolves! The new leaders were selected following Jack Dalton’s midseason departure to the University of Maine.
“Michael has been a leader all season so, with Dalton going to Maine, putting the ‘C’ on Schermerhorn was a no brainer. He’s a great teammate, leads by example and always does the extra work so that he and the team can be the best they can be”, said Coach Phil Fox, adding “Ando has also been exceptional for us all year. He’s one of our most consistent forwards and brings everything he has everyday to practice and games. Both Scherm and Ando are everything we want in our captains.”
