The New Mexico Ice Wolves have officially tendered their first player for the 2022-2023 season. Dillon Kuntz is a 6’2″ 190lb. defensemen from Grand Forks, North Dakota. Kuntz currently plays for Grand Forks Central High School. Ice Wolves head coach Phil Fox said “We are extremely excited about signing Dillon to a tender. Dillon is a big, athletic defensemen who sees the ice very well. He has all the tools we are looking for on our defensive core. He will be a great addition to our team.” when asked about the tender signing.

The New Mexico Ice Wolves have tendered their second player for the 2022-2023 season. Jack Fuller is a 5’10”, 150 lb. goalie from Centennial, Minnesota. Jack is currently a senior on the Centennial High School hockey team. In 8 games for Centennial this season Jack has a GAA (goals against average) of 1.75, 3 shut outs, and a 6-2-0 record. Ice Wolves head coach Phil Fox said ” We’re very happy about signing Jack to a tender. We saw his ability last summer at our pre-draft and main camp. He’s having a great start to his senior season at Centennial, and I love the way he plays. We look forward to having him be a big part of the Ice Wolves next year” when asked about the tender signing.

Another Ice Wolves tender alert! Blaise Schutt, a 5’11”, 185 lb. forward from Elk River, Minnesota has been tendered by New Mexico. Schutt is currently on the Elk River High School hockey team. Through 9 games this season Schutt has totaled 14 points on eight goals and six assists. New Mexico Ice Wolves head coach Phil Fox said “We’re really excited to sign Blaise to a tender. He brings all the things we want in front with our forwards. He plays a 200 ft. game, plays with pace, and can generate offense. He will be a great addition for us down here in New Mexico” when asked about the tender signing.

The New Mexico Ice Wolves® are proud to announce that forward Jack Rausch has been tendered for the 2022-2023 NAHL season. Rausch is a 5’10”, 170 lb. forward from Minnetonka, Minnesota. Rausch played for Minnetonka High School’s hockey team this year playing in 16 games. In those 16 games Rausch tallied 3 goals and 8 assists for 11 total points.

“Jack plays a 200ft. game and he competes in all three zones. That’s what I noticed most when watching him play,” said NM Ice Wolves head coach Phil Fox. “Playing with pace and being relentless on the puck is something that translates well into junior hockey and Jack will bring that. He will add some nice depth up front for us next year in spots we will need to fill.”

The New Mexico Ice Wolves® are proud to announce that forward AJ Carls has been tendered for the 2022-2023 NAHL season. Carls is a 5’11”, 190 lb. forward from Coon Rapids, Minnesota. Carls played for Centennial High School’s hockey team this year and played in 27 games. In those 27 games Carls boasted 40 points on 17 goals and 23 assists.

When asked about becoming a New Mexico Ice Wolves tender Carls said “I am beyond excited to play for such a great program and I look forward to having great success with the staff and players on the team”.

The New Mexico Ice Wolves® are proud to announce that forward Isaac Johnson has been tendered for the 2022-2023 NAHL season. Johnson is a 5’11”, 179 lb. forward from Fergus Falls, MN. Johnson played the 2021-2022 season in the Fergus Falls High School Varsity team. Johnson boasted 61 points during the season in 28 games played. Of those 61 points Johnson scored 31 goals and had 30 assists.

When asked about the tender signing head coach Phil Fox said “We’re excited about signing Isaac to a tender. He’s a young player who plays a big game. Great speed, vision, and a knack for scoring goals. I followed Isaac most of the year off a tip from a coach up north. I liked a lot of his game then, and most recently saw him at the NAHL Prospects Challenge and he looked even better in person. Isaac has that gritty skill that translates well in the south division.”

The New Mexico Ice Wolves® are proud to announce that forward Alfred Lingberg has been tendered for the 2022-2023 NAHL season. Lindberg is a 6’0”, 165 lb. forward from Sweden. Lindberg totaled 30 points in 26 games played for Karlskrona HK in Sweden last season. Of those 30 points he scored 12 goals and had 18 assists.

When asked about the tender signing head coach Phil Fox said “We’re extremely excited about signing Alfred to a tender for next season. He will be a great addition to our roster with his high end playing ability and experience in junior hockey. He is a big time player and will have a big time impact for us next season”.

The New Mexico Ice Wolves® are proud to announce that defensemen Christian Carto has been tendered for the 2022-2023 NAHL season. Carto is a 6’2”, 174 lb. defensemen from Plymouth, Minnesota. Carto played this season with the Northstar Christian Academy 18U AAA team. In 47 games Carto totaled 9 points on 1 goal and 8 assists.

When asked about the tender signing head coach Phil Fox said “We’re excited about signing Christian to a tender. He’s spent the last two seasons developing under great coaching. He’s a big body defenseman who uses his size well and will add nice depth on the blue line.”
